Operation Popcorn
In collaboration with Artifact Studios and director David Grabias, I crafted the visual language and opening titles for Operation Popcorn, a gripping documentary chronicling the true story of Locha Thao, a Hmong American activist caught in a federal investigation. The film explores the convergence of covert government operations and suburban American life. The design blends gritty textures with visual cues from classified documents and familiar neighborhood imagery, capturing the tension between everyday normalcy and concealed political agendas, and setting the tone for a story where espionage unfolds just beneath the surface.
